Hunting the clean boot

The Farmers Bloodhounds follow a natural human scent. This means that no articial trails are laid or additional scents used.

The runners set off before the hounds and the mounted field. 

The bloodhounds follow the scent keenly and with great precision baying or'speaking' as they go. 

The mounted field follow a carefully prepared line allowing them to experience the thrill of the chase across magnificent hedges, fences and fields.

Once the human quarry is 'caught' the hounds are rewarded with plenty of fuss and biscuits. The horses and humans get a well earned rest before setting off again.
